Editorial Policy

This page explains who runs this site, how content gets written and checked, and how we fix things when we get them wrong. If something here does not match what you see on the site, that is a problem we want to hear about — tell us.

Who Owns This Site

Rumble Rummy Online is operated by Rumble Rummy, which also operates the Rumble Rummy app. When we write about Rumble Rummy, we are writing about our own product. We benefit when you play it.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURE: That is a real conflict of interest, and no editorial policy makes it disappear. We have put it at the top of this page rather than the bottom so you can read everything below with it in mind.

Here is what we do about it:

What you should get somewhere else: Whether our app is the right one for you, and how it compares to alternatives. We are the last people who should answer that, and we will not pretend otherwise. If that is what you are after, you want a source with no stake in your answer.

Who Writes, and Who Is Accountable

Articles are published under the Rumble Rummy Editorial Team byline. Editorial responsibility rests with the site's editor, who signs off every page before it goes live.

We use a team byline rather than individual names because our writers prefer not to attach their names to gambling-adjacent content. It does not mean nobody is accountable — every page has a named person responsible internally, reachable at editorial@rumblerummyonline.com.

How We Research

Game Rules

Rules come from standard Indian rummy convention, cross-checked against how they are actually implemented in our app.

Where our app differs from the general convention, we say so. That gap matters more than the convention does. A player who learns the textbook rule and then meets a different table rule has been failed by the guide, not by the app.

How Our Own App Works

Because we operate the app, we are not testing it from the outside — we can tell you directly how it behaves, and we should be held to a higher standard of accuracy than a reviewer, not a lower one.

Every page describing the app is written from the current build, and we check each of these against it:

Every such page carries the app version and the date it was checked. If a page does not carry those, treat it as out of date — and tell us, because that is our error.

The One Thing We Will Not Do

We will not describe the app as better than it is.

Where a step is slow, a requirement is inconvenient, or a rule differs from what players expect, the page says so. A documentation page that only contains good news is marketing, and everyone can tell.

Legal and Regulatory Information

Regulatory claims come from primary sources only: the text of the legislation, official government releases, and court records. We link them so you can check us. We do not cite other blogs for legal claims.

We are not lawyers, and the position in India is still moving. Nothing here is legal advice.

What We Do Not Know

Being straight about the limits is part of the method.

Operating the app tells us how it is built and how it behaves. It does not make us neutral about it, and it does not qualify us to tell you it is trustworthy — that judgement is not ours to make about ourselves.

We also cannot promise every player sees exactly what a page describes. Offers, tables and available formats vary by region, device and account, and builds change between updates.

What We Will Not Publish

Review and Updates

Rummy rules rarely change. Two things do: the app and the law.

We update the date only when the content actually changed. We do not refresh dates to look current — that practice is exactly what makes the rest of this category untrustworthy.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and we say what we fixed.

Material corrections get a dated note at the foot of the article. Minor fixes such as a typo or a broken link are made silently.

To report an error, email editorial@rumblerummyonline.com or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what is wrong. We aim to respond within 1 working day.
